Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: April 30, 2026
Company: The Pipe Doctor Plumbing & Drain
License Number: #2705156689
Jurisdiction: Virginia (Fairfax, Arlington, and Stafford Counties)
1. Professional Estimates & 2nd Opinion Program
The Pipe Doctor Plumbing & Drain provides expert residential and commercial plumbing and trenchless solutions.
- Free Video Inspection: We offer free video inspections for problematic sewers to accurately diagnose issues before recommending a “cure.”
- Free 2nd Opinion Program: This offer is strictly for Sewer Repair or Water Line Services. To qualify, customers must present a written estimate from another licensed plumbing company. We reserve the right to perform our own diagnostic video inspection to verify the scope of work.
- Upfront Pricing: We provide honest, upfront pricing to eliminate “sticker shock.” Estimates provided via phone or https://www.thepipedoctorplumbing.com/ are preliminary. Final binding quotes are issued only after an on-site evaluation by our trained technicians.
2. SMS & Mobile Messaging Consent
By submitting an estimate request or contacting us at (571) 283-2400, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from The Pipe Doctor Plumbing & Drain for:
- Emergency Dispatch: Real-time updates for urgent plumbing failures (available 7 days a week).
- Service Coordination: Appointment reminders, technician ETAs, and scheduling confirmations.
- Technical Documentation: Digital delivery of sewer camera inspection footage and project reports.
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Standard message and data rates apply.
3. Licensing, Insurance & Experience Standard
Since 1984, we have served Northern Virginia as a family-owned and operated business. We are fully licensed (#2705156689), bonded, and insured. We stand behind our work with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and offer Extended Warranties for added peace of mind on major installations.
4. Punctuality & Regional Service Factors
We operate from offices in Alexandria and Fredericksburg. While we prioritize timely arrivals, The Pipe Doctor is not liable for delays caused by:
- Heavy Northern Virginia traffic (I-95, I-495, or local Alexandria/Arlington congestion).
- Severe weather conditions affecting safe trenchless or outdoor sewer operations.
- Delays in utility markings (Virginia 811) or municipal permit approvals.
5. Advice & Trenchless Disclaimer
Information on our website regarding CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) and trenchless repairs is for educational purposes. Every infrastructure—from 70-year-old failing pipes to modern installations—is unique; digital content is not a substitute for an on-site professional diagnostic.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Virginia law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service rendered. We are not responsible for pre-existing structural failures in pipes that were already collapsed or structurally absent prior to the cleaning and lining phase.
